The WHY behind our Design:
We design all of our LED bulbs this way because reflector housings accurately reflect light beams projected left and right, horizontally. Any beams of light pointing up, down, or directly straight are inefficient, causing a staggered and blinding beam pattern. This is why cheap 360 design LEDs work so poorly, they emit light in all directions and are not properly utilizing the design of the reflector housing. This is also why halogen bulbs are tipped, there is no purpose having light emitted straight from the bulb within a reflector housing.
