From yellow glow to bright white! We upgraded our Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Halogen Bulbs to DDM Tunings newest LEDs, the SaberLED CPX 30W
I’m never going back to halogen.
Although the Coachella Valley’s windy season is over, the dried up flooding left after Hurricane Hilary has left a layer of dust over the roads. With each passing car, fine dust is thrown into the air, dramatically affecting road visibility.
Wanting a better (and safer) view of the road ahead, I decided to upgrade my low beams from Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Halogen bulbs to DDM Tunings LED bulbs.
Specifically, I’m looking for something non damaging and easy to install (“plug & play”). I also don’t have much space behind my headlights for additional wiring or decoders, and need something bright for my starry night drives up the mountains of Highway 74. It’s a german vehicle, bulb size H7, and will need Can-Bus function to prevent any powering issues.
Considering these factors, I chose the newest, most compact, LED Kit offered by DDM now:

With the first strong built in Can-bus Function, the SaberLED CPX 30W is the most compact LED bulbs available now.

I’ve never felt safer driving through wind and sand since upgrading to the Saber CPX 30W for my low beams. As opposed to the yellow hue of the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra halogen bulbs, the bright white illumination of the CPX 30W bulbs also give me best visibility for my starry night drives up the beautiful San Jacinto mountains. Truly, these are ideal for any weather or driving condition.
For the same price as the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra halogen bulbs, it’s everything I was looking for and more.
Now, I need to replace my high beams.. which DDM Tunings LED Kit should I upgrade to next?
