You can't buy a system with a smaller ballast. Fully digital, draws less than 6 amps at start up and 3.4 amps at normal operating temperature. This system provides 3200-3400 Lumens at 35 watts and an amazing 5000 Lumens at 55 watts per bulb. In comparison, a typical halogen bulb produces 900-1200 lumens.
What is the difference between 55w and 35w kits?
Our 55w HID kits are 40% brighter than the standard 35w kits.
The 55W system ballasts are about 1 cm longer than the 35W ballasts.
55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).
Our 55w HID Kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.
Full Kit Includes:
- DDM Digital Slim ballast (1)
- HID Bulbs (1)
- Life-Time Warranty
**Make sure you select your OPTIONS**
Note: This is a non-Canbus HID kit. If your vehicle requires Canbus system, you would need to use a Canbus 35W HID kit instead, to prevent/address any compatibility issue.
PS:
1)H11 bulb, Straight base / 90 Degree Angel base
Our H11 bulb is of straight base. However, it's an universal bulb, which fits both applications.
2) H7A /H7B Universal bulb
Our older Ultra H7 bulb inventory is H7A. However, our newer H7 bulb inventory has switched to H7A/H7B universal replacement!
3)- Lexus Fog Lights (2013 up)
- Nissan Fog Lights (2016 up)
- Subaru Fog Lights (2013 up)
- Toyota Fog Lights (2013 up)
- For those vehicles mentioned above, fog light bulbs marked with the following: "H16" "12V 19W" "64219L " This is a 19W halogen bulb that has a very similar base to the H11. Do not use HID's in these applications, the housings are made of a soft plastic and may melt with 35W HID kits. Please check the bulbs before ordering. Using an H11 LED bulb is recommended.
APPLICATION NOTICE:HID bulbs are legal for use in the United States for Fog light only, and in unregistered off road vehicles, such as ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. Not Compliant with DOT/FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. International legality varies by country. Note: This usage regulation is not unique to DDM Tuning bulbs. All LED bulbs from all brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.

Product Reviews
i purchased the 55 w for my ducati 748,,WOW what a huge ass difference! i could ride at night,,safely!..very bright just plug and play.getting some for my truck!
Been running the single 55w H4 kit for over a year now. VERY bright 5 times brighter than the stock headlight Did have a connector come loose and had to remove the connector and solder the 2 wires together permanently but works graet and SUPER bright! Highly recommend, VERY easy install. Dont waste your time on more expensive LED bulbs with the bulky fan on the back. Total waste of money. Go with this DDM Tuning HID conversion, much cheaper and WAY BRIGHTER!!!
I've put HID's in my Triumph Sprint ST and 2 Buell 1125R's
The Ebay kits got flacky after a few months, the DDM kit has been going strong for several years
Great kits, great place to buy
I just crashed my motorcycle after getting hit by a car at 80mph, and these HID's were still shining bright. My 55W kit was awesome. How's that for durability? So the bike was wrecked, yet the headlights were still working.....
Put of a pair these on my 2004 r1 and it made an incredible difference. Over a year later and they still shine bright and keep even the darkest of roads lit.
Just swapped the lowbeam for a 35w 5k kit. it's awesome. Totally plug and play, much brighter than my stocker 55w was. i did have to trim the little plastic piece that nests in the housing. it's square and needs to be round to fit. not a big deal at all, trimmed it with plyers. i'll be swapping out my highbeam with a 55w kit soon.
