The DDM Plus Canbus ballast is part of the DDM Plus line of HID kits. The DDM Plus Kits use our Ultra HID Bulbs and premium HID Ballasts. Why DDM Plus, aside from the higher output from our Ultra HID bulbs you also get a more efficient, faster starting ballast.

Ballasts: The DDM Plus Canbus ballast uses a stronger canbus module to address some of the "pickier" computer systems. When designing this ballast we made sure the Canbus module was strong enough to work with even the most difficult of vehicles, including the Dodges. Each ballast is protected against RF feedback by an integrated ferrite bead before the ignitor to prevent and radio static.

Ultra HID Bulbs: Our Premium Ultra HID bulbs are quite simply the best. Modeled after the Osram CBI line of performance bulbs we've sourced quartz glass from Philips, salts from APL USA and electrodes from Plansee in Austria. On top of this we've redesigned the capsule to produce up to 20% more light than the standard Apexcone HID bulbs which are already an industry leading bulb. The quartz glass is optically clear with a UV coating to protect the lamps from UV radiation. The warm up time on the Ultra bulbs is about 20% quicker than Apexcone bulbs and will reach full brightness in 10-15 seconds.

Alignment: Manufactured in a state of the art facility using automated processes we guarantee perfect alignment of the xenon capsule for the best beam pattern possible.

Output: Up to 3400 Lumens when used on a 35W ballast and 5000 Lumens when used on a 55W ballast.

Warranty: As always our HID kits come with a lifetime warranty.

Note: Canbus function wise, 35W is stronger than 55W. Therefor, for those very "picky" vehicles, we would recommend to use a 35W Canbus HID Kit instead of 55W.

PS:

1)H11 bulb, Straight base / 90 Degree Angle base
Our H11 bulb is of straight base. However, it's an universal bulb, which fits both applications.

2) H7A /H7B Universal bulb
Our older Ultra H7 bulb inventory is H7A. However, our newer H7 bulb inventory has switched to H7A/H7B universal replacement!

3)- Lexus Fog Lights (2013 up)

- For those vehicles mentioned above, fog light bulbs marked with the following: "H16" "12V 19W" "64219L " This is a 19W halogen bulb that has a very similar base to the H11. Do not use HID's in these applications, the housings are made of a soft plastic and may melt with 35W HID kits. Please check the bulbs before ordering. Using an H11 LED bulb is recommended.

APPLICATION NOTICE:HID bulbs are legal for use in the United States for Fog light only, and in unregistered off road vehicles, such as ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. Not Compliant with DOT/FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. International legality varies by country. Note: This usage regulation is not unique to DDM Tuning bulbs. All LED bulbs from all brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.

Installed on my 2011 Ram 1500 and love them. No flickering or bulb out indicators. These lights are bright! I feel like I’m driving a new truck at night!

Installed this set in my 2014 Chevy Malibu in both the low beams and fog lamps with error free results. My friend had installed a regular set non canbus in his 2014 Malibu and it set ABS and Traction Control lights i told him it was the components he used he did not believe me until i proved it with my own installation. Im a factory trained General Motors Technician 36 plus years experience and i did my homework to reach this conclusion.

On a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7. Tried other cheaper kits. This one worked without a problem. Well worth the money and no flickering issues. Time will tell if this kit will last. The build quality of the components seems much better than what I was expecting. As a side note I installed the kit in a projector housing. The light output is much better than the stock reflector housings. I’d recommend buying this for the Dodge Ram trucks.

So much better than factory halogen bulbs in our '14 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Install was a breeze. The 35w 5500k bulbs are only slightly more "blue" than the LED running lights. No error messages. Install only took about 15 minutes and that includes taking pictures after installing one for a comparison photo and one after I was finished both sides. Shipping was reasonably quick to Canada. And these seem to be the best priced HID conversions around that I could find. Customer service is also top notch. They know their stuff! Thanks for a great end user experience.

This kit is great and is plug and play. The light output is fantastic at 35w and no need for 55w ...just more heat unless you have solid glass housings.

No warning lights or issues with Chrysler Canbus System at all.
